Obviously if you are on this forum you love knives. A lot of you love taking pics of your knives in different settings and sharing them with the rest of us knife nuts. Well we want to see your best pic each week. Each week take time to look through your knife photos and share just your one favorite right here. As a kicker I would love if some of you photography experts could offer some positive feedback on things amateurs can do to improve their photos!
To kick this off, this is my favorite. Taken this past week of some of my Half Tracks on the train tracks. Honestly was only slightly enhanced.
Taken for the knives and coffee thread this morning. Sorry, that's all I got. I don't do the Insta thing.
I think I took that one recently. My technique is bad lighting and that my 7 year old daughter finally went to sleep so I could snap this pic before I went to bed.
I'll assume this runs Sunday-Saturday, so this is mine for the week. The phone keeps impressing me with it's camera.
For me it’s this iPhone camera. It takes great pics but they are HUGE files and sometimes will not upload.
One of my favorite photos of my Monkeys. Pretty sure I bought these from Whitty, so appropriate for this thread.
The best light is a soft but bright light that comes at an angle that doesn’t reflect off the blades but still throws a little dramatic shadow for depth. Atleast in my experience. I am no photographer. I take most my pics inside my house and the lighting is terrible.
