HOLY CRAP :eek: That is one beautiful AK,your work really is outstanding,never fails to "WOW" me.
 
WOW...Ban that is "THE" Ak as far as I am concerned. It looks just plain BADASS. I can see Ban in the I AM LEGEND sequel now welding his AK while Will Smith asks how he can get one.
 
Ah, Ban, that is too cool. Seriously you've got balls tackling the AK and it looks like it turned out just perfect. My hat's off to ya! :thumbup:
 
looking good Ban, looking real good. I don't know whether I am supposed to ask it out on a date to a 5 star exclusive restaurant......or beat it like a pimp beats his ho for holding out! (if it was mine, probably both I would treat it like my dearest love, and after a while the itch to take it out and treat it rough would eventually win out). I can tell you that the small trees/bushes that keep growing into my truck would tremble in fear (last season I had to use an 9 1/2 inch 5/16 thick bowie on them, this season it will be the FBMLE taking care of those trees).

I use a 2X72 Belt Grinder running a slack belt. I use only premium ceramic belts because they grind smoother and much cooler. I start off with 36grit, 80grit, 120grit, and 320grit belts. Then finish off with coarse, medium, fine, and extra fine scotch brite belts.

I am sure Hogwash will beat the snot out of it then drive it back over to my place to get it refinished and resharpened. We plan on giving it a test drive tomorrow :D
 
Now that I have the perfect zombie de-animation blade, I can't wait for the dead to rise.

I'll line them up to see how many I can dispatch with one swing. I'm guessing at least six.
 
Outstanding work as usual Ban.

It's kinda funny...

I was admiring (ok fondling) my AK today. It has gotten some pretty good use lately and could use some work on the edge. It got me thinking, how cool would it be to have Ban do some work on an AK. What a coincidence--thanks for posting the pictures.

I think I'll quote Jerry here: YOWZA!!!

Once I'm out of Magnum Slugs in the shotty, I'd definitely hope to reach for one of those in the event of a catastrophic zombie uprising!

Yeah it definately would make a great combo set with that satin 3C of yours. You'd have to pry it off of Hogwash's hands though :D

The AK47 would surely be my first choice for up close and personal work on Zombies! That is of course only after I run out of ammo on my M1A :D
