I've got one on the way, my first "modern" non locking knife. I really like the looks of this one and I know ZT will build it well.
How do you like yours?
Has anyone put a clip on one? I think I will try an MXG clip on mine .

I have one with Ripps Blue denim scales and his wire replacement clip. Excellent knife, one of my favorite modern folders by far.

I do not have one.
What do you say about the "lock" strength? Is it too week or not?

I got a great deal on mine. It doesn’t have a lot of lock strength. Any slip joint will be better.
Still one of my most carried and used knives.

I’d like to see this too. I passed on this knife due to the CF scales and lack of a clip, but now I’m interested. Especially since I have some of Ripps clips.

Thank you! I like the looks of that so much more than the CF. I'm not against lanyard loops or anything, the handle just flows better without it on this one.

I have one and it’s great. I kept it OEM, I’m not big on aftermarket stuff. I rock it in a collectorknives pocket slip with clip or just drop it in the pocket. Cuts great, it’s light and I enjoy having it in the stable.

Wow, that look ps pretty cool. I was looking at some modern traditionals and never thought I would see the 0230 in that light.

I prefer it without the lanyard loop too, much cleaner profile.

I absolutely dig the ZT 230. Love the shape, mechanics...

So far I’ve passed for two reasons.
1. CF scales...meh.
2. Aluminum backspacer/lanyard hole??!!! For the money...I want titanium backspacer.
Then I can anodize it too.

How are you liking the 0230? I’m considering a modern trad. next and I’m looking for a reason to not buy the Impinda. Haha.
