Yep.Nice Laguiole - Mammoth??
Very, very lucky indeed!! Nice clean design, wonderful details!!I was very, very lucky to score this one a few weeks back! A 12cm Laguiole by one of the most renowned French knifemakers, Robert Beillonet, twice MOF. The blade is RWL34, scales are made of aged ivory.
Admire the way he has given the steel an agéd look to compliment the antique Ivory. Complex knife and workmanshipI was very, very lucky to score this one a few weeks back! Like this one! So much so that I ordered one in Horn, not from you hélas! As I live in the EU and sources are nearer but I'm glad that you can promote French cutlery for US fans
Great collection!!!Jean-Paul Daire.
I am sure it was hundred and something years ago. I won this one at an auction. It is very old, probably end of 19th beginning of 20th century. Another member of the forum told me that is Rousselon Freres folder. Their two big brands were Dumas 32, and Damas 82.That Agenais is well used. Looks like it was someone's daily companion.
