Photos Philip Patton knives. Show me what you're got!!!!

I remember That knife Matt had made by Patton and always wondered what became of it after his passing. That's really a sweet knife overall, Congrats.

It was definitely a beautiful knife and CM was a beautiful person. Only the good die young! He had such a big heart. Definitely miss him around here and his videos are his sense of humor.. Every time I think of him I think of that knife made by Phillip too!! I'm definitely curious as to where it has moved on to.

Thanks guys. And I agree, CM was a great guy. Positive, open, honest, and helpful. He is definitely missed around here. After I got his blessings to have a similar knife made, he passed, so I thought it would be a good way to remember/honor/respect him. It would be really neat to see his original in good condition being loved by someone close :)

I only have a small hunter in AEBL. Forged, if I remember correctly.

Hidden tang. Single piece Micarta handle.

Every joint and grind line are perfect.

The edge bevel width (sharpening bevel) was absolutely dead even and symmetrical. Sharp as all get out.

A beautiful hunter (and nice revolver). I had several customs made trying to find my “one” when I should have just saved time and money and had Phillip make me a hunter like this one. Any user experience stories worth sharing?

It is AEBL. I've not skinned or processed any game with it.

Slayed a few apples and oranges.

I bought it unused and it was still laser sharp (came back to us from Finland or Scandinavia somewhere).

The edge was completely untouched. I've cut easy stuff like paper and food etc... I've touched up the edge a few times. A joy to sharpen. I don't know what HRC he is running, but I'd suspect 60-61 hrc.

Seems amazingly thin behind the edge as well.

Nice. I like how thin he gets them behind the edge. They really cut well. I can only imagine on a smaller knife with thinner stock. Thanks for the review. Cool to see it made international rounds and ended up back here, that type of stuff is neat to me. Wonder what kinds of things it saw on its travels (even if unused) :)

The seller made a neat minimalist dangler sheath. Really stiff leather, and way less girth on a taco sheath than I have ever considered possible.

I make my own leather and tend to use too much width on the welt for security.

Phillip Patton made my day when I received this beautiful Bowie this afternoon. I am very impressed by his outstanding skills. What a great maker! signal-2022-05-20-10-39-07-293.jpg

Beautiful piece!!!! Enjoy!! Phillip is a phenomenal blade smith!!!! Love all his designs and his spectacular grinds!!!!
Thank you👍 I fully agree. Phillip has a unique and special style and supurb fit and finish. His Instagram as you probably know is full with pictures of his beautiful blades. I am lucky to own this gem!

I received these two outstanding knives today. I am truly impressed, just as I was with the first knife that I got from Phillip! The fit and finish, the outstanding "shiny" satin finish, the overall level of detail and the balance are incredible. They feel so good in the hand! Pictures don't do them justice (especially not mine) so here are a few good ones made by Phillip:1674664397357.png1674664415757.png1674664439962.png1674664462051.png1674664475634.png1674664487789.png
