Air gun set

I am with the OP, I prefer pumpers over springers and PCP for sheer simplicity of use and overall weight savings. I have had an old Silver Streak that is my go to hunting air rifle, it's compact, light and more than enough gun for tree rats. I have had many others over the years but they are gone now. The SS is all I really need, the 14 grain .20 caliber pellet moving at 625fps is a great small game round, and I like that I don't need to think about the way I hold it when I use it, just mount it, aim, and fire. A few ounces of pellets in my pocket is all I need for a great day of hunting.

Same here- I have the Blue Streak, and have had it for 22 years, it has put down plenty of brown things with teeth, mainly rabbits, but a good mix of squirrels, and a few groundhogs (with Beeman Crow Magnums). Great lil popgun that doesn't need a scuba tank to make respectable killing velocity.

You don't need much to kill game birds for meat if you do head/neck shots. I killed Grouse and Ptarmigan with a low powered Crossman 760, choked back to 400 fps. I used a little scope and actually hunted them to get close. Oh ya, I usually wore winter white camo also.

I have an old 5 mm Blue Streak that needs rebuilding. Any suggestions as to who could do this well for a reasonable price?--KV

I have an Air Arms 400H, several years old. .22 cal precharged pneumatic. I use it to control woodchucks around my garden. Silent as long as you use heavy pellets so they do not go supersonic as it has a shrouded barrel. I also have a few springers, including a .20 Beeman R9, not as accurate or powerful of course, but fun to shoot cans and stuff.
I have a couple of .177 pistols as well. Fun and can shoot in the backyard without complaints from neighbors.

I have a AA tx200 mk3 .177. And a weihrauch 80 .22 cal. I got to get out and shoot them. Using a rest I was hitting quarter at 60 yards. That's big fun....

Finally! I've needed a real air gun for some time. Xisico xs25.
The scope is a Leapers 3x12x40, ya, I know, waaay too much scope for the gun, but it's what I've got.
Now to run a few thousand rounds through it and train my muscles to do the same thing every time.:D

Scope is mounted and zeroed@30 yards. Picked off pine cones off of limbs at 20 this morning.:D
When things warm a bit more I need to see what it'll stretch out to.
