Certificates of completion too??!!Groovy.

Awesome group of knives guys and gals.
Congrats to all.

This was the most fun I've had in a while, thank you to all who attended. I'm hoping to host more of these in the future. I'll post my pictures tomorrow.

Back home from JK knife making workshop. Thanks John you did an outstanding job putting the workshop together and sending us all home with a vary nice knife that we learned how to make with are own hands. We made a few mistakes along the way and John took time to help us through them. I really learned how much he cared about his students success and that we took home knowledge and skill. Thanks John

Wow, they all look great! So jealous, hope you all had fun!

I had a fantastic time and John was great. The knife I made is really cool and everyone in my family was really excited to see it.

Whew - a long weekend! I am sure it was a long one for everyone else, and John in particular!

John did a great job all weekend, showing us each operation, and also making lunch and keeping us all hydrated. Very cool! Met some new friends, some old friends and we all just had a great time.

I posted a couple videos (my phone does these from pictures and videos I take....)

The pictures and vids will all be up at http://www.iammoon.com/albums/JK Knifmakers Workshop One 05212016/

once the uploads get done.

I stopped by Portillos for ribs and a jumbo dog - ate the dog on the road home -

Made it home in 2 hours and 20 minutes, including the new detour to get out to our house; not bad - no traffic and clear roads.

I hope Big Chief Parkumclose makes it home safely, he has a 10 hour drive if I remember correctly!

John, this was an awesome time. We had a blast and got some pretty kick ass knives out of the deal as well. You were a very courteous host and very patient with a group of beginning "knife-makers." It was great that you allowed everyone to be as creative as they wanted to be with their design, but maintained the overall principles of knifemaking that were consistent to all the designs that were produced. The method of the class was great, everyone did one step at a time, very prescribed and the purpose was well explained. I think it was a huge success and I would recommend anyone does this. It really showed well how much time and effort goes into producing a quality cutting tool like those you design and sell. I have zero complaints about the weekend, except that now my wallet is looking scared as I begin contemplating some new tool purchases. :). Thanks John!

Turned out sweet, Ethan! Good times.

I fondled mine and made tack-tickle noises all the way home. :playful:

Thanks Andy! Yes, I was guilty of playing with mine for the rest of the evening as well. I forgot to add the bottle opener on my knife for the optimal tactical design... I'm such an idiot... I'll never be tactical.

John, trying to get a full review of the weekend started in a new thread, forum is giving me fits though. I'll get it on here eventually.
