Damascus Skyline has arrived, and it is awesome! Gonna have to transplant the blade into my red Skyline handles a little later... Can't wait for my Damascus Leek to get here.

What is it that makes the pattern on the Damascus blades? Is it a coating or something with the metal itself?

Oh, and I will edit this on Monday or Tuesday when my skyline shows up.

Dear all. Have couple of Damascus Kershaws in wish list. - Leek and Shallot. The problem for me I do not know anything about damascus from Kershaw.
Can you please compare it with other widely used steels like CPM D2, S30V, M390 etc. I do not feel well if the knife is not working so would prefer if knife n ot only looked awesome
