Got any music that brings out the Inner-Ape?

:D

Any song in particular ready you for battle?

....put you on top of the world....nothing is impossible...

For me....it's the Russian Navy Hymn - as sung by the Red Army Choir - as heard on The Hunt For Red October

I can think of a 100 songs I LIKE....but there are only a handful that are truly a MAN'S SONG....

Women just don't get it...children stand in awe...(or run away!)

Let's get a collection going....

Well, various Korn, Soundgarden and AudioSlave songs get my energy flowin'. Especially as I sit at computer all day long, it helps the day fly by too... Can't pin it down to any in particular.

I remeber workin out down at the weight room the night the first Gulf War broke out. I had just picked up the cassette by AC/DC that had Thunderstruck on it, may have even been the self titled release. I was jamin to it in the weight room when someone mentioned we were launchin sorties into Baghdad. I thought of the pilots and saw all the anti aircraft fire they were headed into and somehow new these guy's were modern day warriors. Every time I hear Thunderstruck I feel it's "Go Time". Pure testosterone to me.

Just an extemporaneous few:

Scotland the Brave
Mussorgsky's Great Gate of Kiev
Garth Brooks' Standing Outside the Fire

Ooh, aren't I eclectic. :D

The Marines Hymn, The Thunderer and just about anything else by Sousa!

20 years as a Marine will do that to you though! Semper Fi.

Rage Against The Machine's cover of Sublime's "How I Could Kill A Man"
Ministry's album "Psalm 69"
Any Motorhead
Deftones album "Whity Pony"

that's a starter anyhow.

iron maiden - rime of the ancient mariner, the trooper.
megadeth - everything before 'the world needs a hero'.
the whiskey rebels.
the templars.

Ministry- "WRONG" , White Zombie -"Thunder Kiss '65, Danzig- "MOTHER", Metallica -(The whole cd) "And Justice For All"

Not in any particular order:

Deify- by Disturbed
Bodies (Let the Bodies Hit The Floor)- Drowning Pool (a favorite over in the Sandbox)
God's Gonna' Cut You Down- Johnny Cash this one just kind of helps to put some Order back in the Chaos
Du Hast- Rammstein
Did My Time- Korn (another Sandbox favorite)

monarh99
Mother by Danzig:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: Awesome choice bro'!
Would have been my #1 choice:cool:

hmmm

Wagner- Die Walküre (The Valkyrie)

Metallica- Ride the Lighting

Iron Maiden- Fear of the Dark

Sinatra- My way

The Rolling Stones- You Can´t Always Get What You Want

Queen Under Pressure

The Who My Generation

Ensamble Gurrufio- Apure en un viaje (look this one up on the web) and Trabadedos (also) -They are more than worth it-

and a bunch more

One of my favorites from back in High School: Iron Maiden - Run to The Hills.

In my opinion, AC/DC - You Shook Me All Night Long, is about the manliest song I can think of. I guarantee you that it's played almost nightly at most strip clubs.

Faith No More - Epic (Or anything, really)
Black Sabbath - War Pigs
Iron Maiden - Where Eagles Dare
Megadeth - Symphony of Destruction
The Pixies - Debaser
New Model Army - Stupid Questions
...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead - It Was There That I saw You
The Clash - Tommy Gun

I should stop...

"Bleed"- Meshuggah
"Unleashing the Bloodthirsty"- Cannibal Corpse
"Organ Harvest"- Fleshgrind
"Annihilation of the Wicked"- Nile
