More Forumite Stats - - - Hand Size

For some reason 2.5" doesnt seem that big. Ive always thought I had smallish hands. I use 2" diameter rattan sticks for eskrima, and find it very comfortable. Dunno I have a feeling I misunderstood the measurements, or everyone else on the forums either have very small hands, or very thick hands. :rolleyes:

I'm one of those with thick chunky fingers...yet somehow, I managed to learn to play the piano well. :confused:

...kills me to try to sew, though (or any minute, precise detail work, etc.)

Perhaps a few of you with weird hands might consider scanning yours in (like I did mine)... ?!??
 
What I have been wondering is the hand size of our Kami's. Every old non-tourist khukuri seems to have a rather small grip. I have one that I just bought from ebay that has a normal sized blade, but I can only get 3 fingers around the handle. The other interesting thing about this khukuri is it has a full tang thats pinned, although very thin steel as opposed to an HI and of course nowhere near the quality.
It's an old one, I will see if I can post some pictures of it.

Regarding Fed's apparent "giant" grip, I think he just has less "web" between his thumb and forefinger. That's what makes the measurement low unless you actually grasp something.
