Secrets Of The Samurai by Oscar Ratti & Adele Westbrook (An intense true book about the Samurai warrior class of feudal Japan; full of great illustrations)

Mile Zero by Thomas Sanchez (Excellent fictional novel about Key West, FL)

The Holy Bible; King James Version, by God (The greatest treasure in the world)
 
A bit dated (people aren't that nice anymore).., but "Alas Babylon" is a great book.

Also Lucifer's Hammer.
