Very happy to see a new G10 Grip!!!!

The grips coming soon with the G10 scales are just what the doctor ordered.I have a 551 and a REI grip with G10 scales.The REI grip is so much nicer feeling in the hand!The choice of a very stainless steel for the new knife is also great news!
I will buy 3 of the full size plain edge and keep 2 and give one to my brother in law.I can't wait to get my hands on this one!
I have a 710-1401 from knifeworks I love so much I am afraid to use it...so I need to get 2 of those as well.One for me to use and one for the brother in law.

Count me as one of those who liked the grip but hated the cheap feel of the scales.

This is great news!!!!!

You can see one stock photo of them at knifeworks under new arrivals.Grey with blue highlighting.It is not an exclusive as others have seen they are preorder status at other sites as well.

It's on the new 20CV steel 551 and 556. It matches the standard Valox pattern, but it's G10 (gray and blue accents). Its the only one in that pattern and configuration so far.

Sounded promising, but at that price I also don't particularly like the color-scheme. Ah well, I don't need another knife, lol.

Me too. I'm just glad I picked up an M4 556 exclusive from GPK right before MAP became effective. Otherwise I might never have been able to justify the cost.

Thanks for the pictures. It looks as good as I had expected. The new style pivot is a nice touch too...
