Those all look fantastic, but I can't wait to get my first piece of firedog. It may look plain in that pile but it checks all the boxes. Super excited for that one to show up.

I've been a huge fan of all things burlap just haven't gotten to this color yet. The shape is an oversized knife he made awhile back that a good friend talked me out of. This one is right at 8" oal which is my perfect horizontal belt carry length. It should be quite a fantastic slicer and complement my folder selection nicely. Lately I'm stuck on a tanto and serrated Wharnecliff.

Next step heat gun mouth shaping before bumping over to 250 grit belt for profile refining.

Oh and thumb ramps, of course. Can’t forget those. Not every sheath profile needs a folded one like this though. Case by case basis.

Sheath profiles refined on 150 grit belt, next fine sanding drum on dremel for hard to reach spots followed by 100 grit sanding sponge. Sheaths ergos matter too. Then rinse and eyelet smashing.
