I am behind you. Good old socialist queue behaviour. Should anybody come up to the queue please remind him that my claim comes before his. Geeeez, I thought these times were past.
My dealer whom I keep abreast of the non-development has in the meantime deleted the knife from his online catalogue because he doesn't want another one of these Subcom embarassments. Can't blame him.
I have been a businessman long enough to know that it ruins your reputation when you stick to a mediocre partner through thick and thin. Confess you made a mistake, ask for time, and start again.

Now you guys have gone and done it. I'm not really one to carry a FB, but now I'm starting to think I may have to get one of these just becuase it's Chadakin's desing, it's a cool looking knife, it's stout, the ergos, etc...

Am I leaving anything out. With it's size, I may even think about carrying it. Hmmm.

That would involve US being awake to wake you up. I held my breath so long I passed out and fell asleep.:p

Aloha bro,

Well...perhaps at least you will be near a computer...we have no internet access in Hell, and being that I spend much of my time there...

What were we talking about again?

God bless:D

This is too true, you need a fat raise and more days off, and ridiculuous amounts of vacation days, than you can spend more time listening to all the chirping crickets and waiting for Blade Tech.

Yeah, so you know all those chirping crickets? Well, I'm about to start naming them soon.

It's coming from Blade Tech so I would assume a Tek Lok of some size.

Did you say it is coming?

In my unhumble opinion, one cannot blame Blade Tech, one must blame Böker. It is their product, and they fail to deliver. The buck is on their desk, not the supplier's. Blaming the secretary is a very lame excuse for a bad letter. The entire "Böker Plus" logic is based on their making the design, and their outsourcing the production. If the result is inefficient, the blame is theirs, after all it was their production line logic. If their suppliers are incompetent, this falls back on them because it was them who chose them.
Could it be that the contract terms for Blade Tech are such that Blade Tech isn't eager to fulfil the contract? Could it be that margins along the production line are so slim that other products with better margins get precedence? Could it be that the pursuit of low prices is resulting in scarcity? Not in my economic textbook, but it would be an interesting revision of commonplace theory.

Right you are Scotty,

It should come with a small Tek Lok.

@clavichord: Boker or Blade-Tech...it doesn't matter why this is late, what matters is the fact that...that...wait a sec'...what are we talking about again?

God bless you guys!:D

So who should I call and harass to get this ball rolling Terry. As you know, I can be a royal pain in the a$$ when I choose to be. Why not share the wealth with the big wigs at Boker, so you don't have to be the only one dealing with the crazy guy on the internet discussion board who won't shut up

Impatience is a virtue:cool:

So I heard from a Boker Rep the sheaths are due in late this week, early next week at the latest.

Can you confirm this Terry:thumbup:

As June comes to its end, here is a little memento for the thingy we wanted but didn't get.
Michael

So I hear this is where I line up and yell,"wTF is my Subcom Fixed Blade?"

w=where in this case.

Yeah...um...it appears, ladies and gentlemen, that I was incorrect.

Any word Terry?

Absolvo te. You are in good company.
I am feeling ridiculed - do I see it correctly that I as a customer am in a queue begging? This is not a situation I tolerate to be in, and the way out is to cancel the order.

It appears I was incorrect also. The last news I heard was that the German factory had stepped in to straighten things out. I have not heard anything since. We are going on a week and a half since the last update I received.
I will let everyone know the minute I hear something.
And personally, I apologize for this.
Thanks, Terry
