Thanks Dan. Believe me I will be in touch if I have any questions. I will post pics. I think that I will take some pics as I go and explain how and why I do the things I do. It might help to show people that you can use very basic power tools to make a knife. I am talking one step up from just a file and some sandpaper. I may just use my 1"x30" sander since so many people have them here for sharpening. Thanks everyone.

Welcome Cosmo. I am sorry but the contest is over. Sorry that you missed it this time around. Kismet is right about maybe this thread needing to be locked. Sorry for the confusion.
