2019 ICCE Show - BIG Texas hospitality *and* talent

The number of HIGH CALIBER slipjoint/traditional folder makers in Texas is staggering!

Must be something in the cactus water.

Awesome displays Coop.

Lot of nice knives, but of the current lot. I would like the R. M. Green dagger. Smooth and elegant.

Good thing I'm poor (or maybe a bad thing?)

Thanks for posting Coop

As you can see, Fort Worth TX drew in a great crowd of talented makers.

Still more to come in the next few days.

Dang it, I was planning on going Friday but got sidetracked and then decided I did not want to deal with Friday afternoon traffic around the Stockyards...kicking myself again every time more pics are added

Zeiba's Bowie is off the charts. That guard sure is different than your typical S-guard.

James D. Huse II, JS - Buda, Texas

The ICCE = Knifemakers Guild and the American Bladesmith Society combined Show.

This show is the ONLY other opportunity for a maker to be tested for ABS status outside of Blade in June.

Noted maker Shayne Carter has a daughter's wedding on the Blade weekend, so he committed to finishing and submitting his set for THIS show.

He is the first maker to have passed his Mastersmith test at an ICCE Show!

I give you solid proof of his acceptance and status:

(Group of ALL his knives including the 'performance test' blade signed by MS Tim Hancock.)

That's IT! What you see above are only the knives which either won an award or the makers had me shoot. There were SO many other great knives bought and sold, or simply didn't get photographed.

I promised images finished within two weeks. I'm two days early. ;)

We expect to return to the ICCE Show next year. Thanks for viewing!

Jim & Susan Cooper
