2020 GEC #33 Conductor Thread

TexasTomcat TexasTomcat Kansas Knife Colectors Association club knife from 2011. Thought it was cool with the James Bond 007 serial number, 35 pieces total. Shield is Kansas state outline.

Chief - The knife, the color, the threaded bolsters, the Kansas shield (horizontally is a much better clue), #007, & even the tube - heck yeah, it's ALL WAY COOL! Okay, school's out on this one! Thanks!

Does anyone know if the Northfield will be Natural Stag, Burnt Stag, or Stag bone? What specifically are the covers on the Tidioute?

Thanks waverave waverave for starting this thread. Am a conductor fan and hope to pick up one of each. IMO a coping secondary would be better than the pen due to the clip main and glad the new run doesn't have bails. Also keep in mind they don't have halfstops, honestly that makes for a smoother opening. Some previous runs. Sold the green one in a moment of compassion.

I keep trying to talk myself out of wanting one of the upcoming Conductors, then I come back to this photo and do a 180.

Great collection of knives!

I'm sort of planning to get just one of these... I like the looks of them, but I already have quite a few really nice watch pocket sized knives, so one will probably do me.
These would have to be really nice in hand for them to take the place of the #62's or the Case swayback jack for carry.
Actually, the #62's are more "main pocket" for me, if I'm wearing jeans, but with cargos, they can go anywhere.

pmek5 pmek5 Don't hold your breath Tim ;) especially not for stainless:D

If GEC are planning on large numbers for this run it must be 95:5 Bone/Stag but I would NOT be surprised if other handles are offered. Wonder what colour Jigged Bone it will be? Dark Red or Dark Green would be fine or Horsecut:thumbsup: Please desist from yet more Autumn Gold....;)

I heard this run of 33’s is just a filler run as GEC sets up for the next bigger run. That’s why we only are getting two cover options.

So we are getting one good thing out of this dam pandemic.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed for strong springs and a surprise acrylic cover!

It could also be that there will be more than one color of jigged bone. That might be the "variety".. stag, or any of several colors of jigged bone. Who knows?

It's official. I am getting on this train. I've got my name in the hat for both variations - the Stag was a no-brainer for me and I am always intrigued by the undetermined bone choice (sometimes it pans out, sometimes it doesn't). We should see some nice Stag on this one due to the small nature of the pattern.
