I like the progression of this thread. We’ve gone from outhouses to turtles to fungus, and now we’re on beavers. Can’t wait to see what’s next.

I saw the skunk cabbage and ALMOST commented on it. They are one of the first things I notice springing up at the end of winter, and for that are near and dear to my heart, despite the offensive name.

I had to look up skunk cabbage when you mentioned it. I seriously thought maybe that was another term for marijuana.

You nailed it. We were in Wasilla, miss it sometimes, now we're in Eugene. The garden is taking lots of time but we're still getting out to the woods and water from time to time.
