Albers Cutlery Company

View attachment 2768495Here are 3 of 12 knives made for us by Eric Albers, using the Cattaraugus rosewood found in the old factory as handles. Eric’s first 2 bladed knives. He was kind enough to make us his first run. He is a true craftsman when it comes to making knives and we are honored that he has made some for us👍 thanks Eric.
Those are beautiful! Eric sure does amazing work. Guys, it's rosewood. He says in his post. ;)👍

Edit, Mike beat me to it!

Two things can be right at the same time I suppose! I can assure you, that wood may be cocobolo, but it sure smells like roses when working with it.

Those 2-bladers are wonderful!!!! Very classy!

It may be Brazillian Rosewood which has a wonderful smell when worked, unlike Indian Rosewood.

This is Box Elder Burl from the last run.
