Been browsing this thread, really love his cover material choices in general but the run in purpleheart is probably my favorite. Don't think I've seen purpleheart on a knife before and the curly stuff looks crazy in person, someone needs to get a video!

Rick, that was one of two knives that Eric made using extra liners that had already been stamped for the Guardians knife last year. I asked him to go with “Eric’s choice” for the covers, and these were the knives he put together.
Eric labeled them as “Brown/Green Stag Jigged Bone” and “Cranberry Jigged Bone” on the boxes, but I like to refer to the green one as “Pickle Bone” and the red one as “Cranberry Relish Jigged Bone.” I have the green knife; the red one was offered up in a GAW in the Guardians thread.
