Any Opinions & Experiences With NuClayer - NoScale 2000 From Pop's?

I use stainless foil for normalizing, and any thermal cycling, if I'm not able to loose material to scale, or if Its an air hardening steel, that I'm going to do a plate quench on. I'll have it in foil for everything for those.

I did actually try quenching in oil with some steel that I had in foil. It did harden. It was for a test I was doing. Not so much for a knife I was making. Depending on the steel it could work, because that steel definitely got hard.

Not saying I recommend doing that. Noscale is probably the best choice for steel that need to be oil quenched.

At the expense of bumping an old thread, do any of you have any images of pieces you've completed using the No Scales? I'm debating it right now and would love to see some examples.
