I just started my terminal leave. I wore my uniform for the last time this morning. I officially retire at the end of May. Navy, 20 years and 8 days!

I'm 38 years old. Definitely going to start another career, just not exactly sure what it will be yet. My plans fell through when the government hiring freeze kicked in.

I was just driving home from the hardware store and thinking again how I regret not serving. I know I said it earlier in this thread but I'll say it again. Thanks to all of you for your service. Your what keeps this country the best country in the world!
