Available knives

Got another cool Camp Knife utilizing some extra BK&T scales I have. This one is 1/4in 5160 with a cold blued finish. I used stainless steel hardware for the handle scales. The sheath is black Boltaron and will accommodate your large size Tek Lok or similar device. Overall it is 15 5/8in with a 10 1/16in blade tip to scales. The blade is 1 7/8in wide and it weighs in at 18oz. I’ve added a useful sharpening choil by leaving it squared off for fire steel scraping. My price is $375***sold***shipped in the USA.

I revisited an old pattern here and even gave it a name👍This is the Gator Bowie! The design is a mix of Bowie and Bolo. Both of these are made from 1/4in 5160 with cold blued finish. The blades are flat ground with unsharpened swedge clips. Both have a fire steel scraper in the choil area. They both come with black Boltaron sheaths with reversible belt loops. Price for either one is $450 shipped in the US.

Sweet blade Bill! I sent you an email. Please check it. Thanks brother!

Here’s a cool small Bowie Knife I’ve made. Originally it was a blank I’d cut and immediately hated. I finally found a way to use it in a way that works very well. Inspired by some of Fred Perrin’s work, I went with a short scale on the handle with a large finger choil. It really feels great in my hand👍 I made this Bowie from .200in thick 5160. The scales are textured black G10. The sheath is black Boltaron with a reversible belt loop. Overall it is 10 9/16in. The blade is 6 7/8in tip to scales. Weight is a super easy to carry 8oz! The cold blued blade has flat grinds. The swedge isn’t sharpened. The price is $300***sold*** shipped in the US.

WOW. Bummed I missed that one!

Bill,

I like the overall size of your new Jurassic Hiker pattern!

I was watching your f/s post but unfortunately the timing was not particular good for me to add another knife to the collection.

Just a thought... But I hope that you would consider offering up a Jurassic in the slightly thinner .200" 5160 stock that you sometime use?

I think a thinner stock Jurassic would pair up very nicely with my larger .250" Grizzly and Anytime/Anywhere Bolo patterns that I'm using.

IMG_4469.jpegIMG_4470.jpegIMG_4471.jpegIMG_4472.jpegIMG_4473.jpegHere is a full feature Jurassic Hiker I finished today. It has a 1/4in thick cold blued 5160 blade with a tapered tang. The black G10 scales are hand contoured and then given a tree bark texture. It rides in a black Boltaron sheath with a reversible belt loop. It weighs in at 12oz. Overall it is 10 11/16in with a 5 3/4in blade tip to scales. The price is $400***sold***shipped in the US.

Here’s a very cool Machete I’ve made😎 I started with 1/4in 5160 and natural canvas Micarta and started removing a LOT of material to reveal this cool blade! The flat ground blade has fullers ground in on both sides. The blade has been cold blued. Overall it is 19 13/16in long. The blade is 14 5/8in long tip to scales. The swedge is semi sharp for about 1/3rd its length. I was able to get the weight down to a very manageable 23oz👍 The sheath is black Boltaron with a reversible belt loop. The sheath will also accommodate a large size Tek Lok. My price is $650***sold*** shipped in the US for this one of a kind Machete.

***Polar Bear Camp Knife in pics has already sold***

Here’s a Polar Bear Camp Knife in .200in thick 5160 with a cold blued finish. Scales are maroon/black G10 with tree bark texture. It’s a great secure grip texture without being too abrasive 👍 Overall it is 11 1/4in. The blade is 6 1/4in tip to scales. This Polar Bear won’t drag you down either at 12oz. The sheath is black Boltaron with a reversible belt loop for left or right carry. The price is $350 shipped in the US.
