That would stop any parcel sent from GPO, Kathmandu. They sew your parcel into a thin cotton bag -- a service for which you must pay and it doesn't go if you don't pay and comply with the standard routine.

How about well-made books with stitched bindings:D
 
All I know is those are the facts in Kathmandu. I remember the old fellow and his wife who did the sewing. Price was very nominal and it gave them employment so I didn't mind.
