Becker BK9 as primary woods survival knife?

I've yomped enough where the view was my feet for miles; I'm sure the landscape was beautiful.

Now, the lighter, featherweight, the better. I still huff and puff plenty because I'm older and less fit. To get to featherweight is a bit of an investment as titanium costs. The best start to featherweight are super light weight climbing packs and boots. No more bomb proof bergens and clodhoppers.

Back to BK's, they are good at what they are, bomb proof. But just not very efficient. But they and similar have a following that our commentary isn't going to change soon.
