Last Thursday I am sure I tore my left meniscus. Here I go again. One Dr's description seemed like my symptoms were described for the video, I already know from the first go-round years ago. The rest is just logistics. Yay! :D

It’s official. Alberta’s shutting down all schools, daycares, and post-secondary institutions until further notice. Shits getting real. Good thing I have my 5,384 rolls of toilet paper to help me out...somehow...?

Schools are shutting down here too. They are starting with a week, but I'm guessing that is going to be extended by the end of the week. You're supposed to build a tp fort to protect you from the virus.

We made a grocery run yesterday. We hadn't stocked up on much since we moved and had been making daily trips to get stuff to cook. We were able to get most of what we wanted. Walmart was wiped out of tons of stuff, but our local grocery store was pretty well stocked. Watched a guy at Walmart buy the last 8 dozen eggs they had. I understand possibly buying a little extra right now, but that much seems excessive.

Just heard a few minutes ago the county’s around here mine included  in the SF Bay Area are on lockdown. Not supposed to go anywhere unless it’s absolutely necessary :poop: is real :(

Going to try buy tp and other things tomorrow  I heard they are now limiting a lot of the products to 1 per customer :thumbsup: maybe the shelves won’t empty as fast

I built my tp fort, but when I filled my moat, it kinda got ruined...

Yeah, the hoarding hasn’t gotten too bad yet, but there’s been a few instances where people are clearing out the most random things. TP, black beans, French fries...

Yikes. Stay safe brother. They’re throwing around shutting schools down until September here.

Location, location, location. I know up around Xr6x they are getting a raw deal. The boss put off plans to visit his daughter up there who is expecting soon.

As far as cleaning out stores, this is what happens when you "Ask the Audience" about what to do in case of threat of Wuhan Flu.

The public schools in NYC are all shut down until the end of April and they may likely never reopen this school year. I’m still commuting from the suburbs to NYC on a daily basis and I’d rather not be. My office hasn’t closed down. We will be starting to rotate staff in and out next week. Everyone is nervous. I have a feeling this will get worse before it gets better. Meh.

Stay safe all.

It’s pretty much everything around here. Hopefully people will CHILL and remember they still need to leave room to walk in their house :p

it's pretty nuts here.
they have closed schools statewide through the end of the school year -- no FTF classes, including the universities.
the state casinos all closed today and the tribal casinos are planning on closing by Friday.
Kansas City is closing all bars & restaurants for 15 days. they may allow fast food with drive-thru's to continue operating.
OTOH, I was able to fill the truck with gas at the closest casino for only $1.50/gallon on the way home.

at work today, I was given the option of going home for the duration of the emergency and still getting paid -- I respectfully declined.

Being a Florida native i was raised to hoard before the storm. All is well at the Tankers homestead. On a side note if anybody would like to go hiking this Sunday I'll be at the Panther Mountain /Giant Ledge trailhead at 6am. 15 mile out and back. 3900 feet above all this craziness

And that my Good Sir is the type of Work Ethic that built this Great Country.:thumbsup:

Tonight as I was walking my dog thru the woods by my house something happened (I'm fumbling for the right words to express how it made me feel) Proud and Strong is all I can think of. Anyway... I heard a large mortar round leave it's tube i turned and watched the flames coming off of the round as it streaked skyword. Bamm goes this Huge Beautiful Red White and Blue star cluster. It echoed thru the woods and across the small airstrip i live by. In that instant my very first thought was Damn I Love this Country. Nothing is gonna keep us down.

Ha! That's awesome. :D
Rehab Rehab Brotha Don't let it hold you back you'll be hiking in no time.
I forsee orthoscopy in my future, if I can handle the hospital visits. First thing in the morning, I get to visit my regular Dr.'s office. I don't think gloves and a mask are inappropriate for a hospital visit. Not sure about the local clinic tomorrow. All I got for a mask is simple workaday dust masks, they are probably worthless for viruses.

Hopefully you have a speedy recovery
