The tactooll is what brought me to Becker knives, it just looks so handy. I've yet to use it for anything! Yours looks nice. Love the new handles.

i used the back side of mine to hammer tent pegs while camping last week. i usually use the back of a hatchet. there was a fire ban when we left, so i didn't bother to bring one.

That TACTUL is probably from the BJ era.... That would mean 440A stainless and Estaloc handle scales.... late 80’s.....Maybe?

I didn't think it would be that old, but it looks like it hasn't been used hard. The spine isn't in the best shape, and I resisted the urge to grind it nice and smooth.

Titanium turns a rainbow of colors when super-heated, such as when welded. We got to try that in tig class. Cool huh?!
