Not the best beer.
Sort of akin to a PBR, maybe Old Style.
Going to be tough getting through a sixer of these 16.9oz beauties.
Probably just let the fridge run empty till those are what remains then I'll have to drink it.

Beer is a Penn Brewery - St. Nicholasbach Brewers Reserve. Darker than the regular St. Nicholasbach, and about 9% va. the normal 7%. Bought it locally in a growler


I'd I give it a solid 8.5 out of 10. Always a solid brew, and good for hanging out with the family.


Knife is a LM P4 Squirt. Also always a solid choice.

Christmas day’s beer of choice!

Troegs Brewing ‘Mad Elf’ with my BM Hidden Canyon.
At 11%, polishing off a growler had me quite.... um... festive, to say the least!

Give the beer a 9/10
The knife an 8/10

As Maibocks go, this was a solid 8.5/10. Great brew!

Making a great turkey soup and used the 119 to cut everything.

Good Cali IPA. Bold aroma and flavor. Good one that I've never had. Of course has the extinct California Grizzly bear on the label like our State flag. Wish these were still around.

My initial impression was way too much cinnamon but half way through it's really gaining appeal.
And no, that's not the 8.3 abv talking.
Recommended.

Great area beer. Named for the 805 area code of California, just a good drinking brew.
