Huh. It turns out, that I've only bought.... Three knives...? This year.

Of those three, this was my favorite.

I'm still baffled by the trademark, but I really like the "modern sodbuster" look. It might even be M390.....

Could I have some info about this one please?

I don’t know if I can narrow the best down to a single blade. However, I can narrow it down to one maker: Carothers Performance Knives

They definitely take the cake for me.

I've been enamored with sodbuster pattern knives for a while, but I was never entirely happy with the options. I found this by accident, while looking through Ali's express website.

It might even be Titanium and M390. China doesn't have the AISI, so we'll probably never know for sure. It's big and light, and faithful to the general shape of a sodbuster, even down to not having a pocket clip.

I like it, but there are some baffling details, like the engraving on the inside of the presentation scale, which is a stylized engraving of a dog, taking a dump.

For $150 American dollars, I can't recommend it. The engraving, and the trademark on the blade are just goofy, and mine came with a recurve in the blade.

I sharpened it out by hand.

I shouldn't have to do that, at this price point.
