zuluninja, great work! Keep up that caliber and you'll need to get a craftsman membership as you will be getting non stop order requests. I especially like the handle wrap on that hawk.

I found one example of a pin lock on a sheath by Mikeymoto... but I'm still confused it doesn't look like the pin goes up high enough on your sheath to lock into the talon hole. Does it lock at the choil instead?

Very few of the talon hole set ups are conducive for a pin lock. They are too high and too close to the handle to work smoothly. I've only been able to use the hole on an original Satin Jack. The choil makes for a much easier placement option, but unfortunately its one of the more difficult areas to put a pin that will be effective as a locker.

thanks!!! leather has become a passion, but I have a stronger addiction - trying to shape steel into knives!! I am in the process of expanding my garage and building a proper forge, so more stuff will be popping here on bf soon.
