Anybody who is there tomorrow looking for a great pocket sheathed fixed blade, check out blgoode at table 5H in the main room.

The leather sheath is snugged up just right from day one. Knife drops in, but doesn't rattle at all once it's in. Really looking forward to carrying this one.

Also went to watch the Bladesports towards the end of the show. We were having a really fun time, but the rain made repeated efforts to wash it out. The Bladesports crew were doing awesome recovering and setting up the next run when the rain would let up, but the people I was at the show with had enough of the rain and dragged me back indoors. Wish I could have seen everyone compete. I want to attend another event.

We got these dope pens from Niagara though, with pull-out steel charts!

Crazy long drive in some doubly crazy traffic, only positive thing was the rain held off.

Saturday evening and I am Home safe, laying down spread eagle on my front lawn, happy to be finally home after driving 1,980 miles a three day span!
You probably can hear the heels of my ruby red slippers clicking together.

My ‘plan’ should have been written better, I highlighted several folks which I did get to see but totally missed many others that I remembered when I got home…duh!

Back home. Blade show haul: some incredible curly/figured walnut, Turkish walnut, Tasmanian blackwood, dyed/stabilized (K&G) burls and a single set of bog oak. Also, some thin Damasteel. All in all, excellent Blade!

Were you there this year? You do realize that a lot of inventory comes to the show and 2/3 of those days are Saturday and Sunday, right?

You'll have to research on the various booking sites for best value. I booked at the Embassy Suits as it is nearby and offers a free shuttle. best would be to get a group together and rent an airBnB.
