Come on Bladeforums members! It's not right that Spark has to sit on these. At $250 apiece, he's sitting on $40,000 worth of knives that he ordered for us. They are a fantastic, heavy duty stockman from GEC. Let's all pitch in and buy them, so we can have another Bladeforums knife for 2025!

I like the knife, and it will be the only one I get this year so I'm in, but the whole series left "the porch" years ago.

Turned out the only other GEC 91 frame built at about the same time, or since, is a four blade Tidioute in Bocote that could be bought for $200 or less new from retailers. A quick search finds several still available for $215.
Anyone who cares at all that it is the forum knife already has at least one. This knife is simply over priced.

Heck ive been here for a long time and enjoyed it. Ill hop on board. Never owned a GEC.

Now that ive bought one how soon am i supposed to start bitching about shipping times and complaining about every aspect of the knife even though ive seen pictures?

I think you meant "gripping" power.

In my experience, "griping" power is one of the few things that seem to actually increase with age.

Ok guys, I still have over 160 of these left and I'm just tired of having them around when I need to free up the money to do other things. So with that in mind, I'm dropping the price back down to the preorder price until these are gone - $250 shipped.

I'm not sure if we're going to do a 2025 run this year. Sorry, it is what it is.

The crazy thing is in 5 years time or so they will be sought after and expensive.

Been enjoying the bone dyeing variations shown here. I wanted to tone down the white portion but not change the look or color of my knife. Reading about Fiebing’s dye I got some in the Saddle Tan color. It worked nicely in blending the whitest parts of the bone into matching better. I really like the toned down look; as received in bottom photo, after color blending in top photo. OH

eBay pricing would indicate otherwise but if I have to choose I would prefer to give that kind of money to the site owner who makes the forum knife a reality as opposed to some random prick flipper on the internet.

Who knows, with any luck there won’t be a 2025 forum knife and all of this will be a moot point.
