https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/bladeforums-2024-traditional-knife.2003187/
Price is $300 $250 ea (shipped within CONUS). If you live outside the US, I will contact you after your order for extra shipping charges.
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/ - Order as many as you like, we have plenty.
Come on Bladeforums members! It's not right that Spark has to sit on these. At $250 apiece, he's sitting on $40,000 worth of knives that he ordered for us. They are a fantastic, heavy duty stockman from GEC. Let's all pitch in and buy them, so we can have another Bladeforums knife for 2025!
It's just a chance to get locked into a GEC knife, albeit at a prepaid premium (less than a flipper anyway).
I like the knife, and it will be the only one I get this year so I'm in, but the whole series left "the porch" years ago.
As opposed to flipper pricesThis knife is simply over priced.
As soon as the mailman delivers it and you open the tube. Now that ive bought one how soon am i supposed to start bitching about shipping times and complaining about every aspect of the knife even though ive seen pictures?
I can confirm you are 100% correct (mumble, mumble, gripe).I think you meant "gripping" power.
In my experience, "griping" power is one of the few things that seem to actually increase with age.![]()
I (we) always thought you Aussies went down the bar and had a punch up to remove any troublesome molars. Not in the case of my teeth it doesn't ...
Remember when you were a kid...when your teeth fell out...you put it under your pillow and the tooth fairy swapped it for 5cents? Nowdays YOU PAY 650bux to have the dentist take them out![]()
Excuse my ignorance but were exactly is the great white north? As much as I would like to help they cost $500.00 a pop up here in the great white north.so I have to be happy with my one.
I am real sorry to hear this,I will pass the word around and see if anyone wants one.Ok guys, I still have over 160 of these left and I'm just tired of having them around when I need to free up the money to do other things. So with that in mind, I'm dropping the price back down to the preorder price until these are gone - $250 shipped.
I'm not sure if we're going to do a 2025 run this year. Sorry, it is what it is.
Would it be OK for non members to buy one to help ou?Ok guys, I still have over 160 of these left and I'm just tired of having them around when I need to free up the money to do other things. The great white north is the home of Doug and Bob Mckenzie, that should lead you in the right direction.Excuse my ignorance but were exactly is the great white north?
I cant find it on my map, they havent renamed the Gulf Of Mexico again have they?![]()
Been enjoying the bone dyeing variations shown here. I wanted to tone down the white portion but not change the look or color of my knife. Reading about Fiebing’s dye I got some in the Saddle Tan color. It worked nicely in blending the whitest parts of the bone into matching better. I really like the toned down look; as received in bottom photo, after color blending in top photo. OH![]()

eBay pricing would indicate otherwise but if I have to choose I would prefer to give that kind of money to the site owner who makes the forum knife a reality as opposed to some random prick flipper on the internet.$250 to $300 is flipper pricing.
