First trip of the year!
About 4 miles and 1200ft gain one way with my 6 and 8yo
First night by trinity river
Hiked in for the second night
Out n back the second day.
The trailhead
Made it to a meadow for lunch. We turned around here. Was hoping to get to the lake but no sunscreen and forgot sunglasses.
