Curious question - are the boker acid washed blades food safe? Cut a piece of cheese with mine and a little bit of darkness showed on the cheese.

Someone with a lot more knowledge of steel and steel treatments will jump in with an answer, mightyzaa, but I use mine for cutting food, fruit mostly, so I hope so!

Anxiously awaiting two new Micarta Barlows, arriving this week. For now, here’s a pretty nice one 83/325 in 01 tool steel.

Thanks John, I think I do as well. I’m not a huge fan of brass bolsters, especially polished brass, so I’m really glad they used a satin finish on the Expedition’s bolster.
