Boker "Tree Brand Classic" & Solingen made traditional knives

I agree. I’d have several more if it weren’t for the price. I will say the three recent Bokers I do have are top notch.

I’ll let you know tomorrow. Tonight I am on Ida induced sump pump duty …

Water crested at the entrance to my basement and miraculously started to recede. I was truly blessed. Prayers for all those affected by this nasty storm.
(This is my back yard- if you look hard you can see my picnic table floating away).
Wow hope all goes well. Once you get everything under control I'm sure the caplifter will come in handy. Stay safe

really nice fit & finish on this model.
Yes, I did fill the shield. The result is super soft to the touch and in perfect line with the Jute.
I did use black colour powder in the epoxy to fill the gaps within the tree on the shield, someting I did not expect was how flat the shield was
in relation to the rounded scale. Ended up sanding the shield off to make it flush
And I removed the acidwash to get my own patina. The O1 looks really nice in a bit of led-grey hue

The standard Grenadil wood Barlow is the cheapest and still one of the best

The Whiskey Oak limited run is one of my favourites too

These barlows are on the small side and quite thin being single blades, they have thin blade stock and are nice and slicey. They also disappear real easily in the pocket. The fit and finish has improved as well on these newer models.

Welcome to the “Club.” 😄 Great job on the shield, looks really nice! 😎👍
I like your pouch, have you made it yourself? I just bought a leather hand sewing machine, I need to make some for my folders and looking for inspiration :)
Thanks Barbababa. No I didn’t do it myself, my buddy JohnDF JohnDF made both of my slips for me. Fantastic work and a super generous guy. He does a monthly GAW of one of his slips. They’ve been EDC for me since I got them. 👍
