Boker "Tree Brand Classic" & Solingen made traditional knives

Brass and Copper patina in various stages. The newest are the two Stockmans and the brown micarta Barlow.

I find the black micarta copper a beautiful knife.
 
My only Boker but I like it.

I’ve been eyeing a few lately but noticed that many of them while the description says made in Germany that the photos don’t show it on the tangs so has me a bit concerned if they truly are.

If you want a Boker made in Germany look for “Solingen” on the tang or maybe even on the shield. My understanding is that if it doesn’t say “Solingen” it isn’t necessarily made in Germany.
 
This arrived over the weekend. No gaps, springs are flush in all positions, strong pull with a great snap. I like the brushed finish on the blade too, it looks good with the micarta covers. The integral micarta is also perfect for cold weather. If you couldn't tell, I'm pleased! :cool::thumbsup:
