Agreed completely, and perhaps with a second smaller blade, like the Case Copperhead idea but a Boker Barlow style.Again my only wish with Boker is that they will Make a slightly bigger Barlow someday. I love mine but would like a slightly bigger version option
It's like ..seeing this...it just isn't fairAmazing action on these little Barlows. I wouldn’t mind seeing a larger Barlow from Boker either, but man what a bear trap that would be!View attachment 2051093
That is gorgeous Jeff. How is the action on the secondary blades? I ask because I have several 7474 stockmans and the action on the main is fantastic but the action on the secondary blades is disappointing. My absolute favorite Solingen made knife, incredible bone jigging that I just swoon over.

Looks great Bart, how’s it holding up in the field? Can it handle the work?I’m a little late to the party here but figured I’d join in. I had this one with me yesterday fixing a little fence.![]()

Thanks, Todd. It’s done well, although I haven’t used it too hard, just cut open a few bags of salt for the cows.Looks great Bart, how’s it holding up in the field? Can it handle the work?![]()
I really live that knife
Very consistent, with 5 pulls on all three (cam tangs, no half stops) and good snap. Not crazy strong closing snap like on some Queen/S&Ms, but solid. How is the action on the secondary blades?
Good to hear. Mine have very little snap to the open position but good snap when closing. I’m not afraid they are going to close in use or anything, it’s just they don’t have the satisfying positive snap.Very consistent, with 5 pulls on all three (cam tangs, no half stops) and good snap. Not crazy strong closing snap like on some Queen/S&Ms, but solid.
