buck buckeye burlwood

Thank you, gentlemen. That helps a lot. I was a bit hesitant to drop coin on dyed dymondwood especially since those ebony scales they’ve been pumping out have been so good looking.

It depends on the definition of "real wood". IDK for sure, but I'm guessing that the burl wood has been stabilized using some type of acrylic or epoxy under pressure. Burl woods in their natural state tend to be on the soft side (i.e. a soft hardwood o_O ). I would not consider such stabilization a bad thing, but some people might not consider it "real wood". Its not natural, but is real ;)

When asking about “real” I was referring to the base wood. Was it a tree at some point or not :D But you do make a good point. :)

It's gonna be a loooooong day at work!!!

Very nice
If mine is anything like that, I'll be happy :)

Mike,

For what it's worth, I was two days short of five weeks for shipping.

I'm only a few miles from the factory so for me shipping was very quick.

Worth the wait and can't wait to see yours! :)

That is some nice looking Burl on a nice 501. I enjoy my 501 Goodfella it’s my dress knife lol. I’m sure you’re going to be very happy with the s30v.
