Buck Collectors Club Inc.

The BCCI is not a forum.... It is a genuine Collectors Club sponsored by the Buck Knives Factory - there are many benefits to joining as talked about in other posts in this thread including quartley newsletters, yearly catalogs, special Club Member only knives of which the annual knife which has a gold filled BCCI logo and your membership number on the blade. The BCCI also has open membership meetings in the Spring at Blade, and the Fall at the NKCA Ohio show... real meetings, real places, real people - not just here in the Buck Forum which is graciously provided by Sparky and is open to any and all to post.. not just BCCI members.

Click here Buck Collector's Club or Buck Knives - Collector's Club for more info.

My thought was "Troll Alert!"...Maybe Cougar Allen could do his magic on this... ;)

Gypsy, you handled that reponse as a true gentleman. Buck collectors like yourself are the reason I joined and became a life member.A Happy and Prosperous New Year to you!
To quinch: nice first post....first impressions last a lifetime

Though I am not currently a paid member of the BCCI, that will change very shortly. I have been a member and very much respect what the BCCI is about, as well as the Officers and Directors and other members. When responding to post such as quinch's I try to think how Joe, or CJ would reply. If any of you have taken the time to read the Warranty Registration that comes with every new Buck, I allow the Senior Partner to guide me, as I'm sure He would one of the Buck family.

Nasty breeds nasty.....

Quinch,
That was a very odd first post.
I hope Gypsy's answer helped clear things up for you. The BCCI is not owned by Buck or anything like that. They do put out an awesome newsletter and that costs $$$, hence the membership dues.
If you want, send me an email with your address and I will send you an application. The application lists all the benefits of joining the club. Of course, your other option is to stick around here. I would be happy to answer any Buck questions that you may have.

I just bought my first Buck knife, a 110 I purchased at Walmart, a few weeks ago. I was so impressed with it's quality, that I've gotten interested in collecting Buck knives. I bought my first collectable last night, a 1989 110 with a Damascus steel blade. I've seen the application for the club on the Buck site, and have been considering joining.

I don't consider myself a knife collector (yet) but I do have seven Buck knives. I sent in my application yesterday to the BCCI. Have to see what is hidden on that web site! I do see a few more Bucks in the near future.

I received my membership packet today. That was amazingly fast turnaround. Now if only my username/password worked, I could investigate the club web site......

I sent an email to el presidente. Hopefully he is still awake!

I printed The Application for the Buck Collectors Club. Is Joe's Address still El Cajon , CA ? Does the application need updating?
Porky

I have several Buck Knives for sale that I bought in the early 80's to 1990.
Still in the brown boxes and several David Yellowhorse and Buck custom fixed blade and folders..........Took 'em out took pictures of some of them wiped the years of dust off the boxes ...... Damn I need to keep 'em and I want more
so they are no longer for sale. Thanks.

G'Day, Does the Buck Collectors club apply to oversea's collectors, if yes are there any additional fees to cover postage of the newsletter or is the newsletter emailed

Col,

The Buck Collectors Club is open to foreign memberships. In fact,we have members throughout Europe, Asia, Canada, South America and Australia too. Annual dues are $30 US and lifetime membership is a one time fee of $150. This is more than domestic memberships because of the extra cost involved with mailing.

John
