I just saw my third live coyote, this one in my back yard at nine o'clock on a bright morning.

I don’t know where you’re at, but that looks just like our southern Illinois coyotes.

We’ve been getting armadillos around here in the last few years. We never had them 20 years ago. I guess they walked across the bridges.

They’re on their way, I saw a dead one headed north on 45 the other day…

By the time armadillos get to Michigan, I'll probably be dead of something else.

I used to drive a truck years ago, and hauled produce & fruit out of Florida. Armadillos always reminded me of 'possums with armor.
I read somewhere that they can carry leprosy, so they can just stay down south.

They've made their way to mid-Missouri. Considering that its wide with a strong current, I wondered how they got across the Missouri River. Surprisingly, they are good swimmers

I read that in Wikipedia today, after the "chatter" here piqued my curiosity about armadillos.
