Case Medium Stockman,,,why so many varieties

I agree with Old Hunter. I ordered this medium stockman without paying attention to the details and it arrived as only 3-1/4" long. It's pen knife like to me as well. I didn't like it at first but now it has grown on me. In fact,I am kind of glad I goofed in ordering it.

In the 80's ... Case made a 087HE medium stockman - its the only sheepsfoot equipped 87 pattern I've seen. Rarely do they show up on ebay ...
