Choice between two knives

I've bought two Bareknuckles in the past week. Sent the first back because it gave my finger a blood blister. I know about the sub frame lock issue and even when I was very careful it was a bear to flip.

I have a 1st gen Bareknuckle that is also difficult to flip open. Never bothered to return it; figured I could "fix" it by lightly drilling out the detent if it bothered me enough. Heard tell on BF that later versions of the BK were "fixed" but don't know that for a fact.
