Hello everyone! It's been a wild year for me and I missed my normal Christmas in July give away, unfortunately. However, I am opening my Christmas Present give away today. I'll select a winner Christmas Eve night and announce it. What might your Christmas gift be? I'll gift one of three things- 1) A Gold membership or Gold Membership renewal to Blade Forums. 2) A one year subscription to Blade magazine. 3) A one year subscription to Knife magazine (print or online). The choice will be the selectees.

The only qualifier is to post a Christmas themed picture that includes a knife. Now I live down south, so pictures with snow will catch my attention! I'll submit my own pic later this week.

I hope you all have an exceptional December and a Merry Christmas.
    ~Randy

Randy, I was the lucky recipient of your Christmas in July GAW a couple of years ago. Very generous of you. I’ll jump in the first spot to start things off.

Here is the Christmas tree farm my youngest daughter works at every year during the holidays. They get pretty busy so she and I got to go pick our tree and cut it down before the gates opened yesterday.

I had an Old Cross Farmer with me. The red knife seemed like it belonged on a Christmas tree farm.

And while I didn’t cut the tree down with the knife, it did trim a few branches when I got it home.

Good luck to all that enter, and an early Merry Christmas to you Randy...

    Merry Christmas to you. :)
Edit... Changed to "I'm In" because it's a wonderful prize.
Who couldn't use another year paid for on this wonderful forum?

I’m digging the snow and ice.

That farmer did a great job on the Christmas tree!

Randy, you are the Spirit of Traditional Knife Christmas :) Not an entry from me, but good luck everyone, and thanks Randy, your giveaway is a great tradition here on The Porch :)

Edit - 22nd December - Bearing in mind the low number of entries this giveaway has received, I'm going to change my mind if I may, since I think it deserves more. So please count me in Randy, and thanks again for your kindness

Nice one thanks. No snow here yet which is odd but it's dark nearly all day so outdoor shot impossible. Here's some artistic snow ;)

Not an entry, but nice giveaway.
    Merry Christmas!
[IMG]Edit: Following Jack's example and changing my post to "I am IN!" Didn't want to enter initially because I had won a couple of giveaways this year already, but what the heck? The more the merrier!

I'm surprised Randy's giveaway hasn't received more entries, I think it's a great prize  I might even edit my original 'not an entry' post  Thanks Randy

Indeed a great tradition (although I've only been here for a couple of them)! Thank you for your generosity. My meager entry (no snow in SE Texas):

I call this composition "The Promise of Christmas". I hope you can all appreciate the subtle imagery, the play of refracted and diffused light on the GEC 33, and the hint of new life and fertility symbolized by the winter flower edging into the picture. Im in!

You all are some humble fellas. I generally don't do "not an entry"! So....everyone is in!!! LOL.

I lived in Sioux Falls and Huron SD. Visited ND several times but didn't live there. Every year it seemed to snow there just before Halloween. No coolers needed for winter parties!

I enjoy Christmas traditions, and The Porch has several that I think are cool. Randy's is definitely one of them! Thanks again for this generous Yuletide GAW, Randy!:cool::cool::thumbsup:

Here are a couple of lambsfoot knives in a Nativity scene:

Like Paul in North Dakota, we haven't had any snow worth mentioning so far where I live in southwest Michigan. (I have to confess that this pleases me immeasurably!) But, Randy, here's a pic of my backyard in January of 2019 that shows off some snow for you!

Best wishes to all the entrants, and may we all have a Happy, Healthy Christmas (and beyond)!
