You can buy a backspacer for the Manix 2 on Etsy. You can also buy a full set that includes screws, backspacer, and pocket clip.

And that frankly is what I personally would do, along with the AWT scales. You would end up with a better version than any Spyderco makes.

Make sure it's the "front" backspacer that the lock slides in, not the one that replaces the barrel spacers at the butt-end of the knife.
