Indeed it is. I bought from him sometime ago and just pulled it out of the safe to do some minor work on it.

Gonna take a special knife to kick the 0566 out of my pocket. I swear I'm in love with this thing de-assisted.

ZT 0560cbcf and Kershaw Speedform II.
Hinderer Investigator Pen and Olight s20 Baton.

Will be changing up shortly.

Manix 2 and Juice XE6. No photos, back to the old dumb smart phone with a horrible camera.

I use my my edge pro to reprofile and create the initial bevel at around 15 degrees per side. From there I touch up with my Sharpmaker at 20 degrees to create a micro bevel. Works greats and easy to maintain.

I used the Edge Pro Apex 4 kit.

Factory edges are rarely symmetrical so I started with the 120 grit stone to reprofile the edges. Worked my way up to 1000 stone, then 2000 and 3000 polishing tape. I'd estimate a total of approximately 8000 strokes. Is that normal to get a clean mirror edge or do I need better technique?

I went with 16 degrees per side. Edge Pro recommends 20 degrees on these kinds of knives but lots of people in forums said they do 15.

It's still not perfect, there's lots of micro scratches that I can't seem to get out.
