Today, for the first time in a year, my daughter and I went to the embankment to play fishermen for a little while.

No one was caught. The ice has passed, but the current is still too strong.

I don't think I've seen a rod with the reel seat up against the blank like that and no grip...interesting. I do like really basic seats / grips for spinning reels, especially with lightweight tackle (like a Tennessee grip), but that goes a a good bit further. Is it actually comfortable?
