Haven't posted here in a really long time.

Carrying my Maxamet Para 3 the last few days. The Para 3 is one of the only knives I have carried and used that just kind of feels like home for me.

I'm starting to come around too . I think I bought my first one only because of the new blue color like you have there that I liked so much .
Recently I have started carrying one of mine regularly and I notice the blade lock doesn't EVER pinch my finger when opening like my many Para 2s do when I haven't carried one in a while . The Para 2 I have to pay attention how I hold it the first few times until muscle memory kicks in and no more pinch . The Para 3 is just no problem from the start .
and
the blade doesn't bump my finger right when it fully closes after releasing the blade lock . I don't mind the Para 2 blade bump really but I don't miss it in the Para 3 . And more tip control with the shorter knife .
Yes , I'm just starting to appreciate the Para 3 .
Oh
and did I mention my BBB 15V Para 3 is going to be delivered tomorrow morning ? !

I love the Maxamet too though no question there !

Carried the ol' Kershaw RAM for a bit yesterday. This thing is such a cool knife. The only thing I wish they did was make the button/acuator on the Hawk Lock a little bigger so I could get an easier grip on it. I've been thinking for a long time that I should sand the G10 smooth on that side (or I'd probably do it on both sides, there's plenty of grip on it with the way your fingers set on it) so that there's more of a texture difference between the button and the G10 underneath it.

Then I pulled out the large SHF to play around with for a while as the sun as going down.

WOW you guys are posting knives I've never seen before ; Hawk Lock etc.
I don't know , I would hate to give up the texture on the G 10 ; maybe get / make a thicker button/actuator . Maybe even from metal so it can have more durable edges on the texture . Part of me was thinking : go with the three pegs like on the thumb studs . Would tie it together visually . Might not be the best idea in use though .

Managed to speak to a few people. Okapi had a large influx of orders. One of which is a US dealer. Current period is 3+ months. So it appears they are on their way.
