EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Today's morning carry, Kershaw's limited "The Edge" MagnaCut frame lock Leek. :)

They published a comic book for this release, The Edge, a sci-fi story about the brothers Shaw and Zero. I love purple, and comic books, and Leeks; this was an easy pickup. The purple/black fade with the Edge logo is less tacky than I expected, too. 😂

For my money the Leek is a timeless, utilitarian design and a killer deal for a USA-made MagnaCut knife.

WHAT a killer Leek! Please drop some more pics (or just repost these) in the Purple Haze thread: https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/purple-haze.2031412/

It was a bit hot and humid here today, with temps in the mid-80's, but there was a light breeze--always on-shore here--and our house is well protected by tall shade trees, so we're still comfortable with open windows and oscillating floor fans. On the other hand, it's another thing if you're stuck in a thick fur coat and you have to find the coolest spot and most comfortable posture in front of the open slider. Not chasing any of his toys around today, just the basics--eat, drink, visit the litter box, and sleep. Ah, the simple life....

For my part, I did the last of the prep work before reinstalling the refinished bathroom window sash, their liners, and the new interior stops, as well making as a small repair to the exterior glazing compound. I ran uptown for a new sash lock and some trim screws and will get that put back together in the morning.

Knife-wise, it was a Micarta Monday with my favorite variety of that scale material--natural canvas.

I sure do like the full liners and the compression lock on this CruCarta PM2 and had a hard time deciding between this knife and the Millie 2 this morning.

It's great, just a tad slower to flick than my stonewashed versions, but it's wearing in nicely. It's almost a burnt bronze on the handle, looks great in person! If you haven't checked out LG's washer actions, you should, the man is a wizard.
He tells no lie⬆️

norcalAF norcalAF and mitchnola mitchnola should be on Mr. George’s payroll by now. They’ve definitely helped sell a bunch of them. They are absolutely correct though I’m not sure what he does different than every one else but it just feels different.

The only reason I haven't given him a shot; LG's knives are too small! The SHF's overall length is my minimum, and every LG that's caught my eye is smaller than that. FOR SHAME!

;)

Well they don't call ya el gigantor for nothing! I would recommend checking out the MK3, it's probably the best fit for large mitts in his line up, and coincidentally has probably his best washer action of all.
