I'll bet one of the available makers will create something for you that transcends production blades for a reasonable price!
I was going to stick with the awesome makers here for fixed blades.... But I've been eyeballing a guardian for a while. It's quite nice.
The Buck 722 is my new favorite from that company.

No doubt! I do have some ideas for an everyday knife and some idea of who to bounce them off of, as well as a chopper I've already starting talking about with another, lol!
I just really liked the guardian, and I wouldn't be too heartbroken if It got accidentally destroyed or lost at work.

At first I was like: wow, that’s cool. What is it? Then I zoomed in and was like: holy crap that’s a Kershaw?
I haven’t seen that one before. Who is the designer?
ETA: I hope that didn’t come off as snobbery. I just meant that at first I thought it was a custom knife, I was surprised to see that it was a Kershaw.

Strata XL. 5.4" D2 blade. G10/steel handle. Man, I was having bad day Tuesday, but when I opened the box, I started to laugh. Much better evening.

Yeah. It reminds me a little of the Kubey Royal. I added these two Mash (fixed auto corrupt) to the one I bought off the exchange a couple of years ago. I planned to keep the gold/bronze one and give my son the blacked out one, but he doesn’t want it. Since this Dark Mode might be out of production I’ll keeep it regardless.
