Ok, let's get down to the juicy bits...
The first knife I have for sale is a Fiddleback Forge Patch. This is most definitely not a new knife. I am not sure when it was made, but I know it has been quite a few years since. I have used this knife extensively and completely refinished the blade using sandpaper and strops. The blade is pretty close to a full mirror polish and hair-whittling sharp. For the record, when I say "hair-whittling" that is not hyperbole. I just touched up the edge with my .5 micron strop and this thing will whittle a free hanging hair. There is some slight patina on the blade, but it is very faint and I was almost unable to capture it in pictures. When I refinished the blade I made it into a full zero-convex grind down to the edge, which is my preference for fixed blades. This puppy tears through wood and most other things you put it up against. The steel is 1/8" O1 steel, the handle is a beautiful piece of Buckeye Burl, it has a tapered tang, and natural liners with blue pinstripes. There are a few pretty fine horizontal scratches along part of the blade, but I don't think they showed up in any pictures. The knife will come with a leather pocket-sheath. The sheath is not quite top-quality, but it's pretty darn good and holds the knife well. I really like this knife, but I haven't been using it enough lately to justify keeping. This would be perfect for someone who is looking for a compact knife that they can really use. She's been around the block a few times, so you shouldn't be afraid to really beat on her.

The second knife that I have for sale today is a Fiddleback Forge Ladyfinger. This is a much newer knife than the Patch. I purchased this one directly from Andy and the gang at the 2016 Bladeshow. I have used this knife pretty extensively as well. Similarly to the Patch, I have refinished the blade using sandpaper and strops. It has a zero-convex grind down to the edge and is very near mirror-polished. The edge is hair-whittling just like the patch and she's definitely ready to do some work. There are just a few very fine horizontal scratches on the blade, but I could not get them in any pictures. Also, there are just a couple very small spots of rust near the tip. They do not appear to be very deep and I'm sure would be very easy to Flitz away. Aside from those spots, there is no other rust or patina on the blade. The knife has 3/32" A2 steel, Shadetree CC Sapphire burlap micarta handle scales over natural liners and white pinstripes. Like the Patch, this knife will come with a leather sheath, but this one is just a little different. Coming directly from Diomedes Industries (Jason himself), this sheath is a top quality piece of leather. It features a dangler and some beautiful character in the leather. the dangler can be removed and the sheath used without if you desire. It is a really great sheath and works perfectly with the knife. Again, I like this knife a lot, but I just don't use it enough to justify keeping. This knife is going to be a really great slicer and woodworker with its zero-convex.
